Offshoring Jobs is Damaging Our Country

I feel like if you live in this country wouldn’t you want this country to succeed and sustain a good government. Off shoring jobs should be controlled and regulated. The people of the United States of America are important and should be provided the jobs instead of them being off shored to other countries. Corporations should work as groups and with the government instead of everyone working against each other, just for their own personal benefit. Our country has to work better as a team and do what is right for the American people. What happen to what our founded fathers wanted?

            Offshoring should be regulated; the government should make laws to protect our country and its people. CEO’s are not thinking about the American government they just want to be wealthy and get the most profit they can by offshoring jobs and paying people under minimum wage to do so. It seems unethical. The government and corporations should work together to become strong again and hire Americans that are willing to do the job gladly because there are so many unemployed Americans. Which doesn’t make sense to me from the second article; our taxes go to everyone who is unemployed as well and providing more jobs would boost the economy and the American dollar will work with us.

            Some offshoring is ok to a certain extent. Maybe offshoring can help to a certain extent and by regulation. The people with the most greed for power and money will find ways around any loop hole. Money is what runs our lives and there are millions of Americans without jobs. A college education is not going to help if we keep offshoring jobs that the American people need to survive.

I picked three virtual worlds to talk about. All of my enteries are coming from Mobile Marketing Assignments I've had. These are all opinionated, but real.

I picked www.There.com which is more of a business platform. The platform has a million active members which makes the platform reliable. It is defiantly a method a lot of businesses go to. It has been used by members from the bands Yellow Card, Beastie Boys, Korn, and MIMS. It has been used for events like races and concerts. A lot of business commerce is taking place on the platform. It is less crowded then other virtual reality worlds which helps with having a meeting and to have your own group privacy being miles apart. Being easier to use it helps with people who are starting up with Virtual Reality Worlds. The ease of use helps people get acquainted with this newer technology. You don’t have to complicate yourself by using this world. There has been many business activities conducted and the growth of space of their “islands” is making doing so easier.

            I also picked www.Worlds.com which is a business platform. They have been around since 1994 which makes them a reliable source since they know what they are doing. They have partnered up with Pearson, Time Warner, Hanson, and New York Times, which have used their services. Partnering up also helped them with having very good graphics which is popular in today’s growing technology world. You can also voice chat which is better than typing everything out, you can actually have a conversation. It’s easy to navigate around, and our society likes easy, this helps everyone who is starting out. It also helps with charity which makes them stand out from the different worlds since they are actually supporting a cause (that is happening in real life) as well as creating a virtual world.

            I chose 3D planets, which is less business like and more for gaming and socializing which is cool since you can separate work and leisure time. You can build your own home, have a job, more around, buy/sell, and go shopping at the mall. Basically your everyday activities in real life, besides the cooking and cleaning aspects, you can live a different/better life in your computer.

            I feel like the younger generations will embark on the virtual worlds, as well as the older generations. The older generations I think will pick up on it because in the virtual worlds they can live a life they have never had. It would be a tool to escape the reality of living. They also will pick up on it since business meetings will be conducted on them, which this is becoming a norm now a day’s. The younger generations will like it because they will grow up with it. It will be a norm, and a part of their everyday life.

            I feel like it’s very cool to have online meetings and meeting different people around the world. But some people may take it too seriously. The virtual world may become their real world and reality will be something you just have to escape from.  As technology advances it will become very easy for people to escape their reality and become amused with all the features. But you can abuse or over use anything in our society you just have to know your limit and draw the line between virtual worlds and real life.
